Our Team

  • Annaliese Dempsey is a Ph.D. candidate with the Department of Anthropology at Texas A&M University. She received her M.A. in Anthropology from Texas A&M University, and her B.A. from the Universiteit van Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam. She has conducted archaeological work in the Netherlands, Texas, North Carolina, and Turkey.

  • Rachel Matheny is a Ph.D. candidate with the Department of Anthropology at Texas A&M University. She received her M.A. in Classical Archaeology from the University of Oxford, and her B.A. from Baylor University. She has conducted archaeological work in the UK, Italy, Texas, and Turkey.

  • Samuel A. Martin is a Ph.D. candidate with the Environmental Dynamics Program at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. He received his M.A. and B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida. He has conducted archaeological research in Arkansas, Belize, California, Florida, Texas, Turkey, and Peru.

  • Elizabeth Martin is a consumer insights and strategy professional with Tyson Foods, Inc. she received her MBA and BBA from the University of Cincinnati.

  • Donny Knowles received their BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. They have served as the creative director for multiple heritage projects, including in the Bahamas, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest.
